An anecdotal event....

The father of the British actor, Edward H.sothern, once lost an engraved gold matchbox presented to him by the prince of Wales, during a hunt .he made a duplicate of it and later gave it to the actor’s brother, Sam, who, in turn, gave it to an Australian named labourtouche .Twenty years later while Sam was hunting one day he was approached by a elderly farmer who had heard Sam’s name was sothern. He said that one of his workmen had discovered that very morning while ploughing, the original matchbox. He was struck by the coincidence he wrote about it to his brother the actor who was then on a tour in us. he read Sam’s letter on train in which , by chance, he shared a compartment with another actor Arthur Lawrence .when Edward told his companion about his brother’s find, astonished Lawrence produced the duplicate match box which had been given to him several years before by labourtouche!
